Curriculum

Manuel Malandrini started to study the piano in 2001 at the Accademia Musicale Valdarnese in San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo) with Samuele Amidei.

Then he studied at the Conservatory “F. Vittadini” of Pavia (Italy), where he obtained in 2011 his bachelor degree with honors.

He attended several piano Masterclasses and workshops with Paul Gulda, Bart Van Oort, Kostantin Bogino, Humberto Quagliata, Maurizio Zanini, Vincenzo Balzani, Andrea Turini, Maria Grazia Petrali.

Actually he obtained his Diploma in performance at the “scuola di musica di Fiesole” with the Italian pianist Pietro de Maria pupil of Maria Tipo.

He attended and won various national and international piano competitions as London Grand Prize Virtuoso (second prize), Tournoi International de Musique TIM (finalist), Luigi Giulotto prize (first prize), città di Prato (first prize), città di Polistena (first prize), 8° Concorso internazionale “Città di Padova” (third prize), Riccione, Castiglion Fiorentino(AR), Città di Cantù (CO).

He played for many concerts in various occasions such as: the 11th culture week of Pavia, in Prato at the “Chiostro di San Domenico”, in Montecatini Terme at “Sala liberty del municipio” and “Palazzo del Turismo Sala Puccini”, “Palazzo Sani” in Lucca, “Aula Magna del Seminario” in Fiesole, “Teatro Wanda Capodaglio” in Castelfranco di sopra (Arezzo), Teatro di Cavriglia (Arezzo), Auditorium di RHO (Milan), Associazione Naviglio Piccolo (Milan), Comune di Bareggio (Milan), “Chiesa Valdese” of Milan, and many olthers.

He was protagonist in National and International concert Seasons: the Royal and Albert Hall in London, Musikforum di Klagenfurt (Austria), “Estate Fiesolana”, concert season of Fraschini theatre in Pavia, San Giacomo Festival Bologna, Miejska galeria Sztuki a Zakopane (Poland), concert season of S. Egidio church in Florence (in the occasion of the 728 years foundation of Santa Maria Nuova Hospital in Florence) International Chamber Music Festival of Cervo “Géza Anda days”, french consulate of Florence, Festival suoni d’Estate in Florence, “Festival di musica classica” in San Giovanni Valdarno in the Seasons 2008/2009/2010, “Festival dei Saperi” in Pavia, “Di Villa in Villa”.
